Danilo Orecchioni

Bosun - Danilo Orecchioni

Dany grew up on the Italian island of Sardinia where his father was a travelling dive instructor. Danilo had the opportunity to travel the world with his father at a young age and has been working on small yachts since the age of 16. Sixteen years later, Danilo continues in yachting, onboard Phoenix². He has been with Phoenix² for 6 years now, and is a valuable crewmember. He has his yacht master ticket and is working towards achieving his Officer of the Watch license. Dany also holds a Padi Dive Master and is a qualified advanced windsurfer. He has a passion for music and loves to DJ on occasion.
 

Christopher Winter

Lead Deckhand - Christopher Winter

Holding a Bachelor of Engineering in Yacht Production & Surveying, it's no wonder why you'll find Chris in the Superyacht Industry. He attended the Southampton Solent University, graduating in 2013. Before joining the yachting industry, Chris was driving Race Power Boats for an experienced company in Southampton. His interests include water sports, engineering and travelling the world.

Deckhand - Oscar Martinex Cuberes

Oscar is From Castellbisbal, a small town outside Barcelona. His Qualifications include a Chief Mate 3000 GT Ticket. His Yachting career started after working on his first boat in 2011, immediately after finishing his studies at Nautical school. After working a land based job for three years he wanted to make a change and try something more challenging. Since he started on his first boat, he sailed the West Coast of Italy, Venice, Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily, Greece and the Croatian Coast, as well as crossing the Mediterranean from Beirut, Lebanon, to the South of France. His Interests include: Motorbike racing, driving sports cars, classic car and motorbike restoration, Gardening and watching Movies.

Deckhand - Shane Neeson

Shane is our token Irishman onboard and comes from beautiful Dunadry in Northern Ireland. Shane recently joined the Yachting Industry and Phoenix² is his first yacht. Along with Shane's great sense of humor and sporty nature, Shane brings a passion for snowboarding, golf and football to the team.
 

Deckhand - Jack Callahan

Deckhand - Jack Callahan

Jack is from the USA and started in 2016 as a permanent crew member on Phoenix² after joining only for a season in 2013. He graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, with a degree in Economics and Geography. He grew up fishing the coastal waters of South Florida and Florida Keys. Jack also played competitive ice hockey and travelled the USA and Canada. He has a strong passion for fishing, ice hockey, snowboarding, surfing, golf and playing the guitar.
 

Deckhand - Lyle Schamrel

Deckhand - Lyle Schamrel

Lyle is from Cape Town, South Africa and has always lived near the ocean. He attended Stellenbosch University and completed a diploma in Aquaculture. Afterwards he became a surf instructor and then started a new hobby, sailing. Having both family and friends in the yachting industry he decided to join the awe inspiring lifestyle that is yachting. He has crossed the Southern Atlantic, North Atlantic and sailed extensively around the east coast of the USA and Mallorca. He enjoys all watersports but favors surfing and is very excited to be part of the Phoenix² crew.
